Metaphor — as a story

How often do we use impressive phrases in our speech to express thoughts in an especially vivid way? We don’t even notice how often we use metaphors and analogies. They allow the listener to plunge directly into the depth of one’s thought.
+ More infoIt was never my dream to be a graphic designer. It happened by accident. When I was a teen, I was sure that I would make a career as a successful geneticist. What I was always fascinated by - creation. But once everything has changed suddenly and I have made a decision to step on an absolutely different path. You have to be brave enough to change your life. It was a challenge to myself. Generally challenges allow us to reveal the best qualities hidden inside. Over the years in the field, from a graphic designer to a creative director, I have uncovered only a part of my capabilities. I feel that every year, with every project, with every team, I am expanding borders of my abilities. The universe is limitless, as well as the possibilities that a specialist who is passionate about the profession can achieve. My profession for me is not just work, it IS my real passion

Back to the metaphor. What does it mean to me? It is my favorite method that I use working with brands. And, yes. I also have my own metaphor.
My mother is the most wonderful person in the whole universe. She taught me to imagine my life as «a train» that passes through different cities and countries, taking diverse passengers. Mom told me that if some people leave my life, it means that this is their stop, they get off, but I continue on my way. If you quit a project or change your location, it's time to move on. I always imagine myself as «a train» that only moves forward.
Why is my site inspired by the subway? I combined the metaphor of the “train” and the habit of using metro every day. Metro is my favorite form of public transport..
