Gruzdika

Gruzdika is a showroom of Georgian fashion designers in St. Petersburg. Georgia stands firmly on the world fashion map, and its designers had more international exposure than ever before. I was inspired after researching a lot about georgian fashion features and made a decision to create a bold logotype for a place where cutting-edge clothes are being sold.

The logo is based on the cross from the Georgian state flag. The spirit of the country reflects brave people who stand out due to their charisma and character. The country is very sunny and warm, with beautiful landscapes, mountains and an inspiring atmosphere. All these facts reminded me about a sun symbol. The sun symbol resonates with energy, power, life. With this in mind, I united the cross and the sun into a single sign, lined up a coarse and monolithic font.
